Heute möchte ich die Läufer unter Euch einmal dazu auffordern unten ohne zu Laufen.
Was? Ohne Schuhe?
Nein!
Ohne Hose?
Nein, auch nicht! Ohne GPS-Uhr!
Wir leben in einer Zeit, in der jeder ständig erreichbar ist und pausenlos checkt, ob es Neuigkeiten auf Facebook, Instagram oder sonst wo gibt. Selbst unseren Schlaf lassen wir durch Sportuhren kontrollieren. Laufen ohne geht gar nicht, weil dann ja nicht das letzte Training gepostet werden kann oder die Aufzeichnung aller Läufe unvollständig ist.
Ich war lange Zeit ganz ohne Uhr unterwegs. Ich schaute in der Wohnung auf die Uhr und ging auf meine Runde. Jede Schleife endete irgendwann bei einer Bank, die eine Uhr an der Fassade hat. Hier habe ich dann erneut geschaut, wie lange ich unterwegs war. Irgendwann legte ich mir eine GPS-Uhr zu - klar, muss man ja haben. Ich war überrascht wie kurz oder wie lang manche Runde war, aber insgesamt war meine vorherige Einschätzung der Läufe richtig. Vielmehr merke ich jetzt, dass ich mich unter Druck setze noch die 10km voll zu machen. Oder, ich gerate in Stress weil ich mich schnell fühle, aber laut Uhr langsamer als sonst bin.
Wozu das Ganze? Haben wir nicht jeden Tag schon genug Stress? Sollte Laufen nicht ein toller Ausgleich an der frischen Luft sein? Ja - darum: lauft auch mal unten ohne und folge Deinem Gefühl!

Why?
We are available all the time through our smartphones. We are checking constantly what is going on Facebook, Instagram or elsewhere. Some of us even control their sleep with these wearables. You cannot go without, cause then you are unable to post the latest training session or there is a gap in your activity plan.
For quite a long time I was running without any device. I looked up to the clock in the flat and went running. Every loop ended on a public place with a clock and there I checked the time again. That was good enough for me. Ok, at a certain point I also purchased a GPS-watch - you need to have one. And I was surprised how short or how long some of my trainings loops have been. But all in all my feeling was correct. Now I realize that sometimes the watch is putting pressure on me. I have to make it 10km instead 9.6, or I feel quite fast and the watch is telling me "no, you are not!"
But why we are doing this? Don't we have enough stress and pressure every day? Shouldn't running be a relaxing sport in the nature? Yes, it should - so leave your wearables at home from time to time and follow your feeling!
