Introduction
Another week another battle mage secret, this week we going to write something about Lost Legendaries. Pretty straight forward no legendaries units may be selected. Most of the time it is not any problem many good options to select common/rare/epic units. Also notice i often have an certain legendary i build a team around so i start selecting untis and then damn i cannot select this one and i need to start over.
Ruleset
Legendary units may not be used.
Note: Legendary summoners are still available.

Abilities Synergies / Strategies
In this case there are no best abilities that synergies well with lost legenedaries.
Here are my most played and best performing units in with this rule set.
Most played:
Best performing with minimal 10 battles:
Avoid

No other avoids I can think off.
Example battle
Strategy
In a high mana battle I like to select and show off some nice legendary. Now this is not possible because of the Lost Legendaries rule set. Lucky you can use melee units in every position leaves us with a nice high mana melee monster. Als need to be aware to pick some reflections shield.
Rulesets
Explosive Weaponry:
Every unit will gain the blast ability. This will do damage to adjacent units.
Melee Mayhem:
Melee units can attack from every position.
Lost Legendaries:
Rule set of this week. No legendary units may be selected.
The Lineup
Summoner
Card | Reason |
---|---|
![]() | There she is again. With the Lost legendaries, strangely legendary summoners are allowed an i love to play Lux Vega. The extra speed is always huge benefit and because it is a neutral you can select any other splinter with it in an high mana battle often will look towards water or life. |

Drybone Barbarian (lvl 8)
Important to have an strong tank often this is Uriel the Purifier but that is an legendary so not an option in this battle.
Corsair Bosun (lvl 4)
Reflection shield is important with the explosive weaponry rule set.
High attack damage and an good amount of health.
Djinn Renova (lvl 5)
Some healing abilities expect some sneak or opportunity play so this unit can help heal those who are injured in the backline.
Arkemis the Bear (lvl 5)
It can attack from this position and will reduce the attack of my opponents tank in half.
Pelacor Arbalest (lvl 6)
Do some double damage, also an unit that is very often in my lineups. It one of the few units that get double string from the beginning. In the early leagues it is very squishy now it has some ok health.
Supply Runner (lvl 8)
gain some speed so I hope I may strike first. A bit risky to play it in the back when an sneak unit is used I might die to fast.

Rounds
Start :
Some heavy hitters on the battlefield. My opponent has some or rented some nice alpha and beta cards.
So even without legendaries there can be some nice units, look at the gold level 8 Arkemis the bear.
We Both selected an reflection shield monster in the second position which is key to protect the rest.
Round 1:
Definitely my speed is an advantage. Also I forgot that the retaliate also does blast damage double fun.
My team is looking strong after the first round I got confident i will win this battle.
Round 2:
In between battle screenshot just to demonstrate how important the speed is, because I may hit first two units already taken down before they could hit.
My opponent has landed 2 poisons that is great but not enough to overcome my speed .
Round 3:
One more unit to go.
Round 4:
There it is the victory.
Conclusion
Lost legendaries is not that bad of an rule set there are often plenty of other options.
Nice to see some older strong alpha and beta units but this demonstrates that the chaos legion and riftwatchers can counter that also sometimes. I must say whenever I face summoners like Yodin or Kitty I often lose 😁
