Gym Friday and Workout Sunday
I'm telling you, on Friday I was able to go to the gym late in the day and at least managed to do 43, 38 minutes of cycling, which is better cardio than doing nothing at all. I was almost at the hour mark or less before closing time. When I left at almost 9 pm, I took photos of the sun at its peak.
Although I've been a bit distant from running for a thousand reasons, I've been more focused on the gym and strengthening my entire body. Thankfully, I haven't had any injuries so far, but today, Sunday, I decided to run early to avoid the sun and started earlier than usual. I only ran 5.26 kilometers at an average pace of 6.23 in a time of 33 minutes.
The truth is, adapting to climate change is a huge odyssey, but nothing that can't be improved.
Taking advantage of this post, I wanted to let you know that every Tuesday, if you want, Carlos Rojo gives some very interesting live streams on Instagram. This time, he talked about many tips that I'll share with you today.
We should run less when we should run more... Although it sounds contradictory, what it means is that we should make the most of our abilities when we go out running. If we make the decision to run less even when we could run more, we're wasting that potential, which we may be limiting ourselves to. This has been happening to me a lot since I arrived here, but many factors have influenced adaptation to the climate and the emotional aspect. Although I've mastered it almost 95% of the time, working based on running alone in the same environments is a topic of internal reflection for now. I definitely miss my group and running as a team, but obviously it shouldn't be a limitation, but you have to express your emotions.
Another phrase to analyze... 20 minutes are worth more than a more planned 60. Running without proper timing can lead to injury in the future. We must run intelligently and take advantage of the valuable time we have, and that we make every effort to do, to train. We must have a clear intention for our training.
As for training days, two well-organized days are better than five poorly organized ones. We must have a proactive mindset. Chaos isn't compensated with kilometers; it's paid for with accumulated fatigue. Building your training routine with structure helps you achieve your goals.

If you criticize yourself when you go out to train...
Ask yourself... what do I want to achieve today with this training? We shouldn't run on autopilot; clarity isn't a luxury; it's your only path to progress.
