"The philosophy of fasting calls upon us to know , to master and to discipline ourselves to the best we can! To fast is to identify our dependencies, and free ourselves from them."
Hello Hivers! Welcome back to my daily iftaar table for this year's Ramadan!
We completed the 10th day of fasting today, that is approx. 1/3 of the month is over! The last 20 days will just fly now!
If you have been following my blog, please note that since day one of Ramadan, I am sharing my iftaar table exclusively on my Hive blog!
ps. I tried posting in the Gems community, but seems like no one really interested in foodies stuffs!
Anyway, I am a die hard foodie and Foodies Bee Hive has become my home now, so all my food posts will be here only!
So, yes if you've missed the previous 9 tables, kindly check them on the below links!

Iftaar table number 10
After yesterday's rush where I was short of time, I've planned myself in a better way today!
Started earlier and I got full time setting up my table as well as taking some nice photos to share with you all!
The Snacks & Pizza!
Today we put only one snack on the table...not fried but baked!
Made by my wife, a Moroccan style samosa with rice vermicelli, mushrooms and prawns served with a spicy tomato and lemon grass chutney!
My sister in law ordered some pizzas today and sent some slices our way for enjoying!
Pizza is always good...anytime!!!
Drinks
The photo above also highlights the drinks we had on the table today!
Moroccan mint tea, my usual milk tea in my hive mug, apple juice, iced tea and water from my hive water bottle!
In that small bowl on the right is Harira Soup mainly for my wife - it is a Moroccan culture drinking Harira for iftaar!
The Main!
Oh this one was so delicious...I just don't know its name...
Baked by my wife, it's like a lasagna...but without the sheets...replaced by potato slices!
We had beef , bechamel and mozarella cheese too in the dish!
Enjoyed it with some piece of soft buns!
Here's a closer view inside this unnamed dish!
Fruits...
I had so much pleasure making this fruit platter today! While plating it...I remembered my days in the Hotel industry!
Always make it nice!
So in the fruit plate we had; Pears, Plums, Apple and Guavas!
All cut with love!
Also present was a big bowl of Cherimoya, Dates, Chebakia and Almond Briwat!
If you want to learn more on Cherimoya's health benefits and facts, check the post I made earlier today!
Ohhhh wait...the chocolates!
I went full board on the chocolate side of things today...our heart was so happy!Lol!
So here we are for my iftaar table number 10!
All foods were very delicious and right now...while writing this post I am finishing my bowl of Cherimoya!
Tomorrow there will be some grills on the table!
Stay tuned for my 11th table around the same time!
Until then,
Wish you well!
Stay Awesome!
