Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 52, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is, “JOKE TOO FAR”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “AS A PARENT”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the things they would do different as a parent from what was done to them when they were children.
We got to see the different experiences members got as children, how it affected their childhood and adulthood, and many of them were certain that their children would recieve better. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w52e1 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us a bit about the kind of childhood he got, and he is going to make sure his children get better. He learned that the smallest things matter when raising children, and even if you work all day to make money for their upkeep, it still won’t guarantee the boond between parent and child. He urged that we tried our possible best to create a conducive world for our children.

This author told us about the one thing he would never do to his child. And that is dangling the idea of punishment over their heads. If they should be punished, he will get it done at once and out of mind. Not letting the threat of it hang in the air and making the child wonder when it’s going to happen. A very valid fact.
MY STYLE OF PARENTING by @joydukeson
For this author, she would rather be a different parent for her children. She would have more time for them, and make sure they are never lonely. A lot goes into being a parent, especially as the children watch everything we do and emulate them. So it calls for discipline as well. And when everything is done right, there will always be a reason to be proud of your children.
