Today I propose to remember one name... (someone will remember and be transported to their youth, and someone may discover a new page in a luxurious thick book). So: Nick Cave.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Foi na cruz

This song is the thing in itself; at times it just pop up and start to play in my mind. I think it is something eternal, something from that side that Mr.Cave might have opened the door and moved from there to here. The song is based partly upon the traditional Brazilian Protestant hymn of the same title, as wiki says; the title translation means apparently "it happened on the cross". I dont have inks to write about this song, and it doesnt need any. Just listen.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Do You Love Me?

A song about a man's love for a woman. Yes, it’s not very original, but a diamond came out of the maestro’s head - moreover, cut by the hands of the director into a wonderful video. (The video takes us to the nightlife of Sao Paulo, bars, brothels, hot spots, corrupt love...) The pulsating, nervous, gloomy sound captures you from the first second - and you don’t expect anything good, no happy ending, only tragedy. A story about a complex, dramatic, maybe toxic relationship, all the characters and details are so familiar and palpable to us from life. "All things move toward their end. I knew before I met her that I would lose her. I swear I made every effort to be good to her..." This subtle feeling of doom in a man’s life, sometimes occures in most brilliant works of art.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow

3rd track was hard to choose... this one is my forever fave Cave song, maybe you'll find it less dark than the tracks I selected from his early albums. It has a delicate vibe.
Respect Nick Cave, and enjoy the true art. The post goes for Three Tune Tuesday challenge run by @ablaze. Previous issues: 106 | 107 | 108 | 109 | 110 | 111 | 112 | 113 | 114 | 115 | 116 | 118 | 119 | 121 | 122
