Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!
Now known as the Unit Review Library! Here is the current Library Link post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!
Space Wolves incoming!
As explained in This post about new reveals at Adepticon the Space Wolves are suddenly being launched and dropped on our heads suddenly!
Thus my time for reviewing their Datasheets is running out. I have 34 Reviews to do, I am trying to maintain a fast pace so I will give myself 17 days including today to complete all of these. That means that the last day of this personal challenge will be the 15th of April 2025!
Today is Day 10/17.
I have reviewed 20/34.
Time elapsed: 58.82%
Review Completion: 58.82%
On Par!
Beyond them looms another 85 reviews of the Coming soon section! I better get cracking!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $254 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review.
The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
677 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #344, I am 333 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)
Space Wolves, Stormwolf
10th Edition Index
The Stormfang will slice a hole into the enemy and drop off a small squad of Infantry. Meanwhile the Stormwolf will bring a big pack or some choncky units and drop them right on the top of the enemy's head!
I am thinking a big unit of Aggressors would be cool!
This guy is 250pts to field! It's a sky-Land Raider! It is also $92 to buy!
Let's check his stats and abilities!

Hover - This Aircraft can go into battle as a Hove Vehicle.
Transport 16 - This model can carry 6 Infantry models. Jump Pack, Wulfen, Gravis and Terminator Armour take 2 slots each. Centurions take 3 spaces each.
Into the Foe
When a unit disembarks from this Transport before it moves can Advance and Charge this turn!
Thoughts
So distance-wise. From the Stormwolf's base - 3" Deployment, then move and a D6 Advance and THEN a 2D6" to charge! This opens up a LOT of possible combiations!
I shall think about it!
That makes 23 Space Wolves Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 65.71% Completed. The total Completed is 37.55% Complete! Can I review them all?!
Thank you for reading!
