<p>I saw a post this morning begging for forgiveness from the Hive community.

We've all seen these types of posts before and while I'd love to get into the whole:
<ul>1. Why is there not just one self appointed Hive police force?</ul>
<ul>2. Why is it so hard to get your name cleared?</ul>
I already know some of the stock answers.</p>
<p>Now before I go any further, I only read the post, I did not drill down any further in terms of information or data but what I will say is twelve posts that supposedly contain <em>plagiarism</em> and or other content that falls foul of the likes of Hivewatchers and Cheetah is a tad more than just <em>"Simple Human Error"</em> even in my estimation it comes across as willful and I'm also not convinced by the perceived language barrier either. Google has a reasonably good Translator as does the Internet.</p>
<p>The question is probably the same question society asks: What is the ultimate goal of punishment? Is it purely they to inflict suffering on the perpetrator with little or no chance of redemption? Or is it there to say: <em>You and I know you did wrong, we punished you as a deterrent to you and others, now lets see how we can put you on the right path."</em></p>
