My 10 Favourite Foods 🍔!

During my formative years I lived with my grandmother. Some of my best moments, but the thing was I think my grandmother's way of showing how much she loved and cared for me was through always ensuring that I was well fed.
My metabolism was great at first and so was my relationship with food, but then a while after joining school, things started changing and ever since then my relationship with food has been ever going downhill.
I know many people love food, but I cannot say the same for myself, and it's not that I hate food, it's just that it has been one source of excruciating pain in my life, am actually scared of stomach pain more than any other body part aching. To me I eat because I need the energy but I wish things would be better.

According to some researchers there is relation between high stress levels and a slowed metabolism, as a result of stress leading to the production of some hormones which affect the rate of metabolism.
I think ever since I was young I was quite under a lot of pressure, I always had a problem with being told to tone down my sense of adventure, change into a quiet kid who does what he is told to and always listens to what the elders are saying, but somehow that's not really me and unconsciously that resulted to high stress levels from a very young age.
Am still on the road trying to make peace with my past, reintegrate some aspects which were long repressed, while also navigating everyday life. Currently my metabolism is not it's best, which has led to the continuous deterioration of my relationship with food.
In trying to help improve the situation I have been doing research on better foods for people with low metabolism rates and also foods best suited for creativity and for those of us whose lives revolve around computers. And since it is a journey just recently commenced, sharing a list of my favourite foods right will be impossible for the #challenge. I am yet to find that dish which makes me look forward to taking it while also getting energy and helping me utilize my faculties better.
....and so in avoiding to provide information about me for the sake, I choose to write about this, an year from now, but at the same date.....I have set up a reminder on my Slack and hopefully by then I will have something juicy for y'all.
