It's a Christmas Tree today! Or, if you prefer, a Yule Tree!
When I first started putting this one together I felt it looked a lot like a deep space probe. Heh. Then I put the sides onto it and it all came together quite nicely. It'll fit it well with my small-but-growing collection of lego Christmas trees!
The current collection of advent toys is growing quite nicely, too.
The Yule Story, Continued
Ron spent some time preening in the mirror. If he didn't know any better, Harry would say that Ron was beginning to get a little nervous.
"You look great," Harry encouraged.
"Yeah, well, not all of us can be as rich as you, you know," Ron replied. He knew Harry was trying to cheer him up, but he was well aware that his own clothes were not up to the quality that Harry's were. And just as he said it, he felt bad; he knew Harry was embarrassed and uncomfortable about the amount of money his parents left.
"I'm sorry, mate," Ron quickly added, then offered up a bright smile. "You ready to go? It'll be a great time."
Harry perked up as well. "Yeah! Let's get down there!"
The two buddies hurried through the Hogwart's hallways to the ballroom where the Ball was just starting. As soon as they entered they were both awestruck by the detail of all the decorations: lights and candles and greenery was everywhere, and right in the middle of the room was this gigantic white Yule tree! "Fantastic," Harry murmured in awe.
