List of PYPT Reports

This is a Curated Content Collection (CCC) of all the reports of the PYPT (Pimp Your Post Thursday) published by Shadowspub on her account.

This took longer than I expected, mostly due to the inconsistent formatting and tag lack of specific tag usage for the reports. I thought it would be easy with the tags like 'pypt' that Shadows uses on all her PYPT reports but that is not an exclusive tag for only the reports. There were announcement posts and not all posts in the past had that tag, at least not one of the first five tags.

But wait, let’s take a step back and talk about what PYPT actually is.

PYPT - Pimp Your Post Thursday

PYPT ("PimpYourPostThursday") is a 'live' curation show for posts. Attendees enter a voice-channel so they can hear each other talk. There is also a simultaneous text-chat were attendees type. Everyone takes turns, sharing a post and talking about it. It's a great way to network, meet new people, and get more eyes on your work! It takes place in another Discord server called Dreemport

It is the oldest running curation show on Hive... it helped me and many others connect with fellow Hiveans while promoting our posts and increasing our influence. Recently, we celebrated seven years of this show and to honour this milestone I wanted to have a centralised place where anyone can find all the past reports of PYPT. This was an interesting problem for me to solve using my limited programming skills. HiveSQL helped but I had to filter out a lot of posts manually.

Please note that there might be a few reports missing from this list (very few, if any). I filtered all the posts that contained 'pypt' or 'curation' or both the tags. I have checked a lot and both of these seem to cover all the posts (they gave me much more than I asked for, so I had to filter the rest manually).

Why I did it?

• It was a fun project!
• For Archival purposes (I hope someone can find some use out of it)
• I love PYPT and more people should know about it.
• I wanted to find some dirt on Shadows (I am still looking xD)
