Since ancient times, colonial empires have used a system called “divide and conquer’ when plundering distant territories. That system was perfected over time, and was especially developed with the introduction of the fiction called ‘nation state’, which was followed by the creation of fake nations by tearing them away from the domicile peoples.

However, parallel to those colonial crimes, another process was taking place: The process of centralization among the colonial empires themselves, among which rivalry has always reigned. Today we have the merging of those two sinister processes into the creation of a dominant, though still somewhat covert Empire, which has its own monstrous Modus Operandi: The Covert Empire has found a way to make money by killing people, and for that it needs constant warfare. And permanent warfare is ensured – as in the ‘good old days’ – by creating false nations and pushing them into war. Ukraine is a perfect example. But this time we will see one even more naked…

Manila Chan has her own show called Modus Operandi. Historian and political analyst Nebojša Malić, who has been working in Washington for a quarter of a century, is the real person who, using the example of the fake state of ‘Kosova’ (actually the Serbian region of Kosovo and Metohia), explains the criminal activity of the Hidden Empire. I note that this interview was recorded before the tragic events in Banjska on September 24, so some of his remarks about the growth of escalation can be immediately understood.

The contemporary covert Empire is basically made up of the Anglo-Saxon states – the ‘five eyes and five ears’ – their European colonies, Japan and South Korea. Turning a blind eye to this fact is just Western denial of reality.

And the modern Empire has upgraded its Modus Operandi with another element very important for this story: Each of its defeats on the battlefield is followed by the opening of a new war hotspot that serves for new looting and propaganda coverage of the previous defeat.
